OUR PROGRAM
A Full year program with a twist
- We’re proud to offer a full-year dance program but with a twist that puts your family first. We know your lives are full of more than just dance, and we want that for your kids! Whether it’s soccer, school plays, or family weekends away, we encourage our dancers to explore other interests. At the same time, we also teach that dance is a team sport, and showing up matters . Not just for your dancer’s growth, but for their classmates and choreography too. What matters most to us is that dancers stay committed, stay connected, and make the effort to be in class each week. Consistency is key, and we’re here to support your dancer every step (and shuffle!) of the way. Welcome to a program built with real life in mind!
oUR tEACHING PHILOSPHY
Our teaching philosophy is rooted in kindness, growth, and a whole-child approach. We lead with empathy, respect, and encouragement, creating a supportive environment where every dancer feels valued and safe. Rather than focusing on perfection, we celebrate progress. Recognizing that growth, effort, and persistence are the true markers of success. We also believe that dance education should nurture the whole child, which means we care deeply about each dancer’s emotional, social, and physical well-being. Our goal is to help dancers thrive both in and out of the studio.
sKILL BASED CLASSES
At Unite, we place dancers in classes based on their skill level, not strictly their age. This means your dancer will be learning alongside others who are at a similar point in their training journey, regardless of how old they are.
We believe this approach creates the best environment for growth. When dancers are surrounded by peers with similar abilities, they’re more likely to feel challenged, supported, and confident in class. It allows us to tailor instruction more effectively and ensure every dancer is progressing at a pace that’s right for them.
Because of this, your dancer might not always be in class with kids their exact age, and that’s okay! It’s not only normal in our studio, it’s one of the things that makes our program strong. We encourage families to see this as a positive opportunity for their dancer to focus on development, not comparison.
Our faculty takes great care in assessing placement and is always happy to talk through how we determine the best class fit for your child. We're here to make sure every dancer feels seen, supported, and inspired. No matter where they start.
